The Amsterdam Panthers had come to Nijmegen to take revanche on their loss, two weeks earlier. They had a real hard time getting it. Right in the first quarter RB Roel van Teeffelen scored a Touchdown. In theconsequent play he Pirates Defense gloriously knew how to change a thread of equalization of the score, into new chances for the Offense. Which, unfortunately, did not result in further highlights for the Pirates. The score remained 6-0 for the Pirates until Halftime. After the break The Panthers had regained themselves and scored a TD plus extra point, followed by a Safety in Q4. The Game ended in 9-6 for the Panthers. Leaving the total score of both matches still in favor of the Pirates.
