Prison is about the KOEPEL gevangenis in Arnhem. The Koepel prison is an awesome piece of architectural design by Johan Metzelaar (1886) This documentary shows the contradiction between the perception of architectural esthetics by the curent visitors of this monument and the unmistakably miserable life of inmates, who, behind thick walls and bars, could only see glimpses of the bright light of day.
